The original Kitchen was quite small, however by closing off a doorway, removing some walls and adding a ceiling coffer and an island, we were able to expand it into a fairly large Kitchen. We were also able to take some space from the existing Laundry Room and add it to the Kitchen, by stacking the washer/dryer and adding louvered doors and custom cabinets. All lighting is LED, the countertops are all granite and the backsplash consists of polished marble tiles. The new wood flooring is natural oak.
We panelized the refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher to create a seamless, quality design. There is a gas cooktop, convection oven and convection microwave. A generous pantry is on the left side of the refrigerator. Note the contrasting paint color of the ceiling coffer.
We utilized a continuous power strip hidden under the wall cabinets in order to eliminate power outlets on the backsplash. Note the before shots of the former Kitchen. This completely new Kitchen was certainly a transformation!
