Description
We increased the light in the room via a Skylight. Our motif for this Master Bathroom is contemporary with clean, simple lines. As a result, the floor, wainscot, and shower are all the same 17×26 tiles. The countertops and tub deck are matching engineered quartz slabs.
We designed “his and her” custom, cantilevered vanity cabinets with drawers and pull-out shelves behind the doors. The finish is espresso. The tub wall is clad in quartzite and the backsplash features glass mosaics. We kept the shower floor tile seamless by utilizing a linear drain against the wall. The shower glass is stationary with no need of a shower door.
The large shower accommodates a rain shower head, hand-held shower head
and three vertical body showers. The three beveled mirrors are actually recessed medicine cabinets and the tub-filler features a water fall effect.
For a mid-size Master Bath, we were able to create ample storage space between the two vanity cabinets and the three medicine cabinets. We also installed a heated floor – outside of the shower of course.
